What is HQ-PE (High Quality PE)?
HQ-PE (High Quality PE) is a premium polyethylene material designed to provide the perfect balance between high performance and cost efficiency, maintaining high quality standards through an optimized manufacturing process. Its structure ensures excellent sensitivity and precise lure control, allowing anglers to detect even the most subtle bites, while remaining soft and flexible for smooth handling. With a density of approximately 0.97, it's naturally floating and does not absorb water, ensuring consistent performance over time. Its very low stretch enhances vibration transmission and hook-setting efficiency. In terms of strength, HQ-PE offers about 2.7 times the tensile strength of nylon, making it highly effective compared to traditional materials. However, like all ultra-fine PE fibers, it has lower abrasion resistance and a knot strength of around 40% of its linear strength, factors to consider during use.
