Graphiteleader's Calamaretti Omorig is the new Calamaretti series rod specifically designed for Omorig (a variant of Ika Metal), developed to deliver even higher performance. While preserving the original concept that made the Calamaretti series famous, this new version features a reinforced butt/handle section engineered to handle a wider range of weights and confidently face demanding conditions and strong currents. The blank is built by combining carbon materials with different moduls, resulting in a structure that is lightweight, highly sensitive and progressively powerful, with the right backbone to control Omorig presentations and fight big squid. The use of Graphite Cross LV in the butt section improves resistance to twisting and crushing, reduces overall weight, and provides a solid, well-balanced feel throughout every phase of fishing. One of its key strengths is the adoption of the original Olympic OP-02 carbon reel seat, mounted in a downlocking configuration, which significantly boosts sensitivity.
