Brush Threader

Daiichi Seiko's Brush Threader is a compact and extremely lightweight line threader designed to make it easier to pass fishing line through rod guides. The flexible brush tip can pass through micro guides with an inner diameter as small as 1.5 mm and, on guides up to 4 mm, helps keep the threader in place even when you release it. The small line hook securely holds even very thin lines, from size #0.3 to #2, while the stainless steel shaft provides the rigidity needed for smooth and precise use. It can also be used to thread line through baitcasting reels.

How to use it?
1) Brush tip: Insert the Brush Threader through the rod guides. The special brush tip allows the threader to stay in place even when you release it, preventing it from slipping backward. This function works with guides up to 4 mm in inner diameter.
2) Compatible with micro guides: The flexible brush allows the Brush Threader to pass through micro guides with an inner diameter as small as 1.5 mm, making it easy to use even on rods fitted with very small guides.
3) Line hook: Attach the line to the dedicated small hook. The system is designed to securely hold even very thin lines and is compatible with line sizes from #0.3 to #2.
4) Rigid stainless steel shaft: Gently push the threader through the guides. The sufficiently rigid stainless steel shaft resists bending during use and allows for smooth, controlled threading.
5) Use with baitcasting reels: The Brush Threader can also be used to guide line through the line path of baitcasting reels, making threading easier.

Warnings
When threading the line, use the product with the drag fully loosened or with the reel bail open. If the line hook becomes widened, it can be restored by gently squeezing its base with pliers. Do not force thicker line than the specified range into the hook, as this may cause damage. Pass the Brush Threader through the guides slowly, avoiding sudden movements that could damage the guides. After use, rinse with fresh water and allow it to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
