Bent Minnow 181F SW

O.S.P.'s Bent Minnow 181F SW is the largest version of the famous Bent Minnow. A 181 mm, approximately 65 g floating topwater lure characterized by its exclusive fully curved body, which generates a completely different action from both traditional pencil baits and conventional minnows. At rest, it floats sideways on the surface, creating an extremely realistic imitation of an injured or weakened baitfish. Its primary action is achieved with twitch & pause, producing sharp side-to-side darts combined with intense body flashes and sudden twists that can even make the lure roll enough to expose its belly. Its unique body geometry also allows it to generate irregular three-dimensional movements, including hops out of the water, short dives, and unpredictable directional changes upward, downward, sideways, and diagonally. These unpredictable movements effectively imitate the erratic escape of a small baitfish being chased by a predator and are particularly effective even on wary fish. The line eye positioned below the surface and the curved body allow the lure to grip more water, improving stability and reducing displacement caused by wind. During the retrieve, the Bent Minnow moves a considerable volume of water, significantly increasing its attracting power. Its darting action also moves the lure relatively little toward the angler, allowing it to remain in the strike zone longer and thoroughly work specific areas. During pauses, wave movement activates the large internal rattle, adding an additional acoustic attraction.
