Varivas's Avani Shock Leader SMP Nylon is a nylon shock leader designed for saltwater fishing, where reliability and power are essential. It withstands strong runs and abrasion against rocks and the seabed thanks to outstanding toughness and durability. Developed through a careful review of materials and an improved manufacturing process, it delivers excellent straight-line strength, retaining the power of previous models while featuring optimized stretch, ideal for high-load fights and stopping fish at critical moments. Its enhanced abrasion resistance helps prevent sudden strength loss as the line wears, making it perfect for tough spots and fishing close to structure. The special NON and ND-S treatments increase suppleness and reduce aging caused by water absorption and seasonal temperature changes. It also includes a convenient center-hole spool band that lets you pull line off even while the spool is secured, adjustable according to line size and remaining amount. Perfect as a leader for PE in spinning, jigging and offshore casting when you want strength, control, and security.
