Atula 90 Heavy

Mangrove Studio's Atula 90 Heavy is a compact sinking pencil, developed to realistically imitate sardines and small baitfish while covering large areas of water. Its straight profile, inspired by the typical Japanese anchovy (Katakuchi Iwashi), creates a natural and highly convincing silhouette for predators. The body is optimized for long-distance casting, delivering excellent performance even in strong winds or when predators are feeding on small baitfish. Its high versatility allows it to be worked with slow and swinging retrieves, surface skipping, or deeper lift & fall presentations. By varying the rhythm and intensity of the retrieve, it's possible to effectively reproduce bait panic, simulating the irregular behavior of a fleeing or distressed baitfish. The Atula 90 Heavy is suitable for both offshore and shore game fishing, proving effective on bonito, mahi-mahi, seabass and other coastal predators. The combination of compact size, casting distance and ease of action makes it particularly well suited to actively searching for fish. It comes standard with BKK #4 treble hooks and is recommended for use with PE #1.2-#3 braided line and 3000-5000 size reels.
