Evergreen's Artisan MS Mountain Stream is a handcrafted spinning rod designed for stream and mountain river fishing, developed in collaboration with expert angler Daisuke Yamagishi. Ideal for "Satogawa" (rivers approximately 7–8 meters wide) and "Genryū" (mountain stream headwaters), it's optimized for twitching techniques using sinking minnows, in line with Mr. Yamagishi's unmistakable style.

- Tip section: a blend of 24-ton medium/low modulus carbon with high resin content and fiberglass, providing a smooth, responsive curve;
- Mid and butt section: constructed with Toray Torayca® T1100G carbon with Nanoalloy® technology, combined with high-modulus 33T and 40T carbon. This ensures both sensitivity and power while maintaining tension during fights, reducing hook-outs and enhancing fish control. The unpainted raw finish (except around the logo) maximizes the blank's natural performance;
- Three-piece construction: ideal for mountain environments with dense vegetation, where compact transport is essential;
- Joints: Put-over joints are kept as short as possible to ensure a smooth bend and reduce weight, even in a 3-piece design;
- Spiral wrapping: classic spiral thread decoration in black, white, and gold – timeless, elegant, and built to last;
- Logo: positioned on the butt side in dark transparent green, the distinctive color of the "Artisan" line – easy to spot in photos.
GUIDES
All guides are titanium-framed with SiC rings – lightweight and durable, perfectly suited for PE lines and monofilament with terminal knots.
OTHER COMPONENTS
- Hook Keeper: foldable Fuji stainless steel lure holder – does not interfere with the fishing action;
- Grip: foregrip-less design for maximum movement freedom. Double lock nut system for securely fixing the reel;
- Reel seat: crafted from premium "Karin" wood (Padouk) – hard and durable. Slim design (23 mm diameter) for a natural, comfortable grip, suitable for various hand positions;
- Artisan logo: laser-engraved. (Note: being natural wood, each piece may vary slightly in grain, color, and weight.);
- Rear grip: made from lightweight natural cork, with a straight design for excellent handling during casting, hooking, and fighting;
- End grip: finished in Karin wood with a decorative metal plate engraved with the “Raptor” symbol – a tribute to the hunter's spirit.
