Apache 170

Left's Apache 170 is the 17 cm version of this distinctive swimming popper, designed to combine popping, diving and swimming in a single, extremely versatile lure, capable of responding to the angler's creative ideas with a wide variety of movements. The large front cup generates splashes, sound and water displacement during the popping action, while the lip positioned on the upper part of the head allows the lure to work just below the surface, with movements more similar to those of a minnow. With long jerks, it creates a bubble trail in the subsurface layer, staying just beneath the surface. With softer jerks, it enters an irregular and wobbling diving action, while at faster retrieves it transitions into a stable rolling swim, catching air at the surface and alternating between different types of movement. A technical and multifunctional swimming popper: a popper when surface presence is needed, a swimming bait when a smoother and more natural action is required, and a minnow-like action when the goal is to trigger strikes through lateral movements and changes in posture.
