Marukyu's Amihime is a ready-to-use groundbait specifically designed for Sabiki fishing and feeder fishing from piers, harbours, rocky shorelines and boats. Like all Marukyu products, it's made in Japan. It's produced using selected krill, processed and packed fresh, with a formulation designed to preserve its natural attractiveness and maintain its consistency inside the pouch. Thanks to the presence of amino acids and attractive components, Amihime retains a high olfactory appeal and quickly stimulates the feeding activity of fish.
The krill maintains a well-defined structure and, once released into the water, disperses naturally while remaining visible and appetising. The floating and suspended particles create a constant attraction, capable of drawing in the shoal and keeping it in the fishing area for longer. The product is particularly suitable for use with Sabiki rigs: simply open the cap and squeeze the contents directly into the dedicated feeder, basket or groundbait mix. It requires no preparation, mixing or added water, making it quick, clean and controlled to use.
Its delicate fruity fragrance reduces the typical strong smell of ami ebi and krill, making Amihime more pleasant to use even for anglers who are sensitive to strong odours. This feature also makes it ideal for recreational fishing, family fishing and use with children. Amihime is effective for horse mackerel, sardines, garfish, mackerel, saddled seabream, bogue and small pelagic species.
