Vengeance Stand-Up Spiral

Shimano's Vengeance Stand-Up Spiral is a new series of rods designed for tuna fishing in the Mediterranean and features a unique spiral guide system which greatly improves the action when under extreme pressure. This model represents the entry level version of this rod series, but packs all the power of its much more expensive sisters in the Shimano range. They are unique rods, designed by Mediterranean Tuna fishing experts to provide a cost effective solution and feature a spiral guide placement that wraps around the rod allowing the line to follow the fighting curve. When bent, the line is held away from the blank by guide placement producing a better action, with minimal lateral twist, allowing maximum pressure to be applied. The guides are very resistant Shimano Hardlite, able to overcome the pressure of monofilaments and braided lines; features a Shimano aluminum reel seat that will hold the reel securely with an ergonomic EVA handle that allows for a secure grip at all times. The one-piece design is never overloaded and still retains added flex, even when you push it to the extreme.
