Kairiki G5

Shimano's Kairiki G5 is a new braided line with special features. In fact it's a 4-braided line with a central yarn made with a higher gravity material. This makes the Kairiki G5 a quick sinking braid that offers numerous advantages in fishing. It's heavier than a classic braid, therefore less influenced by the wind during the casting and by the current during the initial fall into the water. For this reason it's possible to have a quicker control over the lure. During the falling phase the line sinks faster than the normal braided line, this makes it easier to fish the rigs, especially the lighter ones, in depth. Other high gravity lines are nylon and fluoro, but compared to those the new Kairiki G5 has no elasticity and has a much higher breaking strength. This new braid was developed for the true gear fanatic who likes to get the best possible results.
