Grappler Type C

Shimano's Grappler Type C is part of a rods series specifically designed for heavy spinning from the boat. Ideal for those who want a light and powerful rod, and they have been tested not only in Japan, but around the world to provide the right tool for everyone. In addition to the Slow Jigging (Type Slow J) and Light Jigging (Type LJ) models, Shimano has studied this Type C model, created specifically for heavy spinning from the boat. The highest quality blank was produced using two famous Shimano technologies, Spiral-X and Hi-Power X. The Spiral-X is a three-layer structure in which carbon is wound diagonally (as opposed to the classic carbon blanks with the sheets placed horizontally) in a narrow way, thus improving performance and increasing rigidity without increasing weight. But, to increase the resistance of the blank, it's necessary to use Hi-Power X, which consists of an external X-shaped layer that acts as a reinforcement structure for the blank. The guides are Fuji series-K with stainless steel frame that improve the light and increase the power, the grip is in black EVA and the reel seat is a Fuji with double closure.
