Egi-OH Search

Yamashita's Egi-OH Search is the new "Search" version of the famous Egi-OH, designed to capture very active squid by exploiting both the luminous effect given by the "Neon Bright" technology and the internal "Rattle" sound effect. Compared to the previous model, the new Egi-OH Search has been completely redesigned, both from a structural and action point of view. The body with flat sides and wide reflective surface (of different colors depending on the color) produces a many reflections both during the falling action and during the retrieve action. In the upper part of the body it has a "Strobe Fin" which uses the action of the flat body to generate a "stroboscopic light" which stimulates the visual sense of the squid. Internally it has a rattle around 600 Hz (hertz), which is said to be the easiest for squid to hear. The sinking phase is also different, with a slightly faster sink than the previous model, to search for active squid at a faster pace. Finally, the "Neon Bright" system allows you to emit a new generation ultraviolet light with wavelengths that correspond to the three primary colors of light: red, green and blue.

074 (UV Glow Neon Bright BLUE - Holo Base):
The body with silver highlights and blue back simulate the natural color of a small bait fish that attracts squid.
It adopts neon blue brightness which is very attractive during daytime and clear water conditions.
The combination with the pink color of the head makes it easier to locate the bait when sight fishing.

075 (UV Glow Neon Bright BLUE - Base Pink):
Very visible color with a pink base and a bright neon blue luminosity, very effective when fishing in clear waters.
The pink highlights make the Egi stand out even in low light conditions.

076 (UV Glow Neon Bright GREEN - Base Red):
A color that uses neon green luminosity which is very effective when fishing in murky waters.
It strongly attracts squid with its eye-catching back colour, effective in low visibility conditions, and its flashing red base, which creates a strong silhouette effect.

077 (UV Glow Neon Bright GREEN - Base Gold):
A natural olive colored back that blends with the bright neon green and brilliant gold base.
This color is perfect when fishing in murky water.

078 (UV Glow Neon Bright RED - Base Gold):
The highly visible orange back and shiny golden base strongly attract very active squid.
Adopts red neon luminous body, very effective when fishing at dawn and dusk.

079 (UV Glow Neon Bright RED - Base Red):
With its red neon light body and red flashing base effect, this color is useful for evening and night fishing.
The brown back blends easily with the rocky shoreline and seaweed beds, attracting squid.
