Studio Ocean Mark's Blue Heaven L50Hi 20th Anniversary Limited Edition is the limited edition for the 20th anniversary of this fantastic Japanese company! SOM (Studio Ocean Mark) studies, designs and manufactures top-of-the-range fishing products. SOM products are top-level products and are designed for those who expect only the best from a fishing product. Blue Heaven reels are the apotheosis of Jigging reels, giving those who use them a feeling of extreme satisfaction. This particular limited edition model is a pleasure for the eyes thanks to the turquoise color and the carbon drag lever and handle, but above all for fishing, as it is equipped with the new SOM "Multi Suspension System" mechanism which improves and facilitates the winding of the handle, a real step forward for bait reels. This is a bait reel that allows you to fight against prey such as Tuna over 50kg and Amberjack over 30kg!

MULTI SUSPENSION SYSTEM (MULTI SUS)
The MULTi SUS system is a mechanism that "loads" when it is easy to apply force when turning the handle and "assists" you when it is difficult to apply force, balancing the input on the handle itself.
By averaging the input to the handle, the overall lift load is substantially reduced.
A suspension rubber has been fitted between the main handle shaft and the drive gear which is squeezed and "loaded" on the black arrow and reset and assisted on the red arrow (see photo 3).
From the graph it can be seen how the wave generated by the input during the lifting of a normal bait reel (red line) is very accentuated, this means that the pressure generated is not balanced.
While looking at the wave generated by the MULTI SUS (blue line), this is much more linear, this means that the input is balanced and is assisted at the point where it is difficult to apply force during retrieve (see photo 4).

DRAG MEMORY RING
It's a mechanism that allows you to visually check the value of the drag. The numbers are laser engraved in 0.5kg increments based on the amount of power change of the BHL50 (1 click = 500g). In this way it's possible to instantly check the value of the drag when shoeing the prey so as to accurately calibrate the value of the drag according to the unfolding of the fight.

It comes with a reducer that allows you not to make the nylon back, but to put PE directly.
